From intimate drawings at 17cmh x 14cmw last year to 122cmh x 86cmw 2015, like Alice ‘Eat Me’ I get bigger…. The shift in size meant changes and the drawing grew outwards like a story or a dream interspersed with heightened moments. The point of pivot was always the drama of the backroom.

Sapping humidity prevails...
There is an occasional caress of a soft breeze in the trees, the poignant call of the black cockatoo, a TV noise… a light shines out exposing some small urban drama and the river flushes through and on….
