Joy we got some rain!!
I spotted a wedge tail eagle perched on a tall bendy callistemon at the rivers edge. The callistemon is bending because when it floods its 22m height is under water. When the river recedes it pops about with the current.
The eagle sat for a while, and the masked lapwings sensibly left him alone for a time.
